Ingredients:
For the Meatballs:
500 g ground lamb
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1 egg
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon ground coriander
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
For the Minted Yogurt:
1 cup Greek yogurt
2 tablespoons fresh mint, chopped
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1
Prepare the Meatballs:
In a large bowl, combine ground lamb, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, parsley, cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Form the mixture into small meatballs, about the size of a walnut.erator.
Step 2
Cook the Meatballs:
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook meatballs in batches, turning occasionally, until browned on all sides and cooked through, about 10-12 minutes per batch.
Remove and drain on paper towels.
Step 3
Prepare the Minted Yogurt:
In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, mint, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Step 4
Serve:
Arrange the meatballs on a platter, drizzle with minted yogurt, and garnish with extra fresh mint leaves.
Serve hot with warm pita bread or a fresh salad on the side.
